Church receipts to be received through Dec. 29

The South Carolina Baptist Convention will close its 2006 financial records at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 29.

For gifts to be posted in 2006, churches will need to mail or deliver checks so that they reach the convention building no later than Friday, Dec. 29. All gifts received after 4:30 p.m. on Dec. 29 will be posted as 2007 gifts.

The convention building will be closed Dec. 25-29 for the Christmas holidays. However, the accounting staff will be working to post church gifts received.

The convention building will be open on Tuesday, Jan. 2.
