NGU celebrates ‘All Steinway’ designationPublished November 27, 2006
The School of Music of the College of Fine Arts at North Greenville University recently celebrated its “All Steinway” designation by hosting a Steinway Gala. Only 65 universities and conservatories in the United States have this designation, and NGU is the first Baptist institution to attain this honor. At the gala, a concert was performed by NGU music students and faculty. Martha Cline, benefactor, and her late husband Neb were honored at the gala by NGU president Jimmy Epting, with a proclamation naming its music school in honor of the Clines. Above, Rebecca Banas and Kolby Matson play a duet during the gala.
