Orangeburg-Calhoun names Welch DOM

Paul Welch was elected as director of missions for Orangeburg-Calhoun Baptist Association Feb. 15.

Welch formerly was pastor of Fairview Baptist Church, Greer, for seven years and previously had served as a pastor in Kentucky for 27 years.

A native of Greensboro, N.C., Welch is a graduate of Mars Hill College and Southern Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Kathryn have three adult sons: Michael, pastor of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Walhalla; and Andrew and Matthew, both of Greer.
