Not tomb of JesusBy Crawford Smith, DorchesterPublished March 19, 2007
Concerning the “Tomb of Jesus” discovery, there is one major point I believe proves it is not the final resting place of Jesus Christ. The inscription. If the disciples of Jesus Christ had successfully stolen his body by sneaking past sleeping guards, all for the purpose of fooling the world into believing Jesus had risen from the dead, the last thing they would have done is to put his name on the tomb. Would this not have ruined their hopes of deception?
