James Calvin Conoly

James Calvin Conoly, 91, of Greenwood, a retired pastor, died March 5, 2007.

Born in Acree, Ga., he was a graduate of Furman University and Southwestern Seminary.

Conoly pastored churches in both Carolinas and in Georgia. He was a member of South Main Street Baptist Church, Greenwood.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of Mathews Masonic Lodge #358, A.F.M.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Moffett Conoly, six children, 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
