John Dan Christopher

John Dan Christopher, 72, of Seneca, a retired Upstate pastor, died March 22, 2007, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

A native of Greer, Christopher retired as pastor of Retreat Baptist Church in Westminster in 2006. He formerly served as pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church, Greer; Piedmont Heights Baptist Church, Piedmont; Bounty Land Baptist Church, Seneca; and First Baptist Church, Central. He also served a church in North Carolina.

Survivors include his wife, Crystal Isola Waters Christopher, two children, four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
