Get to know themBy Steve Small, LancasterPublished June 25, 2007
To the letter writer offended by Masonry, I am proud to say that I am a 3rd generation Master Mason and a Past Master of my Lodge. I have never seen anything in my Lodge or any that I have visited that contrasted with my Christian beliefs. I invite the writer to get to know a Mason or two on a personal level, and then ask if these things can be true.
Editor’s Note: Recent editions of the Courier have carried letters expressing opinions favorable to, and critical of, Freemasonry. The Courier believes that both viewpoints have been given adequate attention and no further letters on this issue will be published. — Editor |
