Seneca pastor re-elected trustee chairman at New Orleans Baptist SeminaryPublished April 24, 2008
Trustees of New Orleans Baptist Seminary re-elected Rudy Gray chairman at the board’s April 15 meeting.
Rudy Gray Gray is pastor of Utica Baptist Church in Seneca and author of The Baptist Courier’s “At Home” column. The board also adopted a budget of $19,540,305 for the coming fiscal year and approved a master’s program in women’s ministry and a new apologetics institute. Trustees also approved three online undergraduate certificate programs and four online graduate certificate programs. “Our great concern is making theological education as accessible as possible to as many people as possible,” said seminary president Chuck Kelley. “This is filling in the gaps for people for whom traditional theological education is not available.” |
