Attention, singers and other musicians:

Have you or your group recorded a Christian music CD, and are you a member of a South Carolina Baptist church? If so, we'll post a Web page about your project, including song lists, audio clips, photos and links to your Web site. We'll also consider your album for future announcements in the printed edition of The Baptist Courier.

It's all free, and it's open to individuals and groups (bands, praise teams, ensembles, choirs, etc.). We're publishing this information for two reasons: to showcase the varied musical talents in our 2,000-plus South Carolina Baptist churches, and to provide a resource for churches looking for singers and groups for revivals, homecomings or other events.

To be included in our online CD listing, do EITHER of the following:

1) Send us a copy of your CD, along with a press release or other descriptive information, including the name of your church, date of release, genre (contemporary Christian, Southern gospel, country gospel, traditional, gospel or another description of your choice—you may list more than one genre) and purchasing/booking information (phone numbers, e-mail addresses and Web sites). Identify three tracks you would like for us to post as brief (approximately 30-second) .mp3 samples. Send materials to: Musicians Studio, The Baptist Courier, 100 Manly St., Greenville, S.C., 29601.

2) By e-mail, send us a cover image of your CD, a complete song list, three clearly identified sound clips from the album (.mp3 format preferred, approximately 30-second excerpts; if your Web site features sound clips from your album, it is not necessary to send clips, as we will link directly to your site), and a press release or other descriptive information, including the name of your church, date of release, genre (contemporary Christian, Southern gospel, country gospel, traditional, gospel or another description of your choice—you may list more than one genre) and purchasing/booking information (phone numbers, e-mail addresses and Web sites). We will attempt to post Musicians Studio Web pages in the order in which we receive requests. Your page will appear sooner if you carefully follow the steps outlined above. Thanks in advance for your understanding and patience.
