Letters: Thankful for Courier’s work
Letters to the Editor

I believe I speak for thousands of South Carolina Baptists and for our institutions and churches in saying that the Courier has been a blessing and a tool in the hand of God, helping us in so many ways.
Letters: Change SBC image, not name
Letters to the Editor

A name change for the Southern Baptist Convention would be a superficial correction. What needs to be corrected is the image. The Mormons have become the second-fastest growing denomination by doing it. Maybe we need to spend some media money here in the U.S.A.
Letters: No compromise on SBC name
Letters to the Editor

Letters to the Editor

Letters: Returning to our roots
Letters to the Editor

Letters to the Editor

We wonder why so many churches are having trouble keeping pastors. By reading the want ads and all the restrictions we put on candidates, we might understand why.
Letters: Dismayed over pastors’ views
Letters to the Editor

I was dismayed to read that 17 percent of those who claim the calling of God in their lives are so unwilling to believe his Word — specifically, those who do not believe in a literal Adam and Eve (“Poll: Pastors oppose evolution, split on earth’s age,” Jan. 19).
